The time has come to inform and educate the public. These days police officers have College Degrees in Criminal Justice, attend police academies, serve under the guidance and direction of senior officers, receive in service training and other forms of instruction and education in law and police work. Police officers know their rights and yours, as well.

Prosecutors have college and law degrees. They attend continuing legal education seminars, meetings and conferences at your expense, to become more effective and efficient at convicting the very people who are paying for this training and their salaries.

Judges are lawyers. They too must attend judicial training conferences, meetings and seminars. They know the law. That's why they're judges.

Insurance attorneys also have law degrees. They specialize in defending injury claims and have a great deal of experience. They also attend training paid for by those insurance companies.

Criminal Defense attorneys have law degrees and attend, at their own expense, continuing legal education seminars, meetings and conferences.

Everyone in the criminal justice system, except the Defendant, has the benefit of the best education and training available.

In this age of information, it's time the layperson is included, not excluded.
